With a user-friendly search and based on precise measurement data, ProductCat provides tailored results, dynamic filtering options, and detailed performance data of the fans. Whether for project planning, documentation, or quotation preparation – ProductCat enables efficient decisions and can be flexibly used thanks to offline usable data files.
The interplay of Measurement Data and ProductCat allows for seamless integration of measurement data into fan selection. Measurement Data creates an encrypted data file that serves directly as a data source for ProductCat. With these precise measurement data and an operating point specification from the user, ProductCat determines in no time the fans that optimally cover the operating point. This efficient connection ensures that relevant performance data is directly available and the selection process is quick and reliable – ideal for precise project requirements and targeted decisions.
Individual selection and detailed results with ProductCat
With ProductCat, we work together with our customers to create targeted selection criteria that are perfectly tailored to your requirements – e.g., by fan type, application areas, or specific series. The pre-selection is dynamic and always shows you the suitable options that meet your criteria.
Thanks to the precise operating point input, additional parameters such as diameter range, speed specifications, or density calculations can be considered. The result is clearly presented in a list that contains the characteristic performance data of the fans. Shopping cart functions
The selected fans in the shopping cart can be saved as a project with all design data in a data file, so that the design can be viewed again by other users at a later time. Another optional function of the shopping cart is to supplement the fan with accessories, calculate the price, and issue "the whole" as a quotation.
OEM data and function release via licensing
Measurement and result data that are specifically intended for OEM customers can optionally be defined as a license group and activated in the product catalog by the manufacturer only for the intended customer via a license key.
Webcat for fans
For fan design via websites, we create the search engine for fan search with the functions described above for customer-side web designers. Data is then exchanged between the web program and the search engine via an interface.
Automatic update functions
To keep your customers up to date, ProductCat is available with an optional update function. Here, a web server checks upon request from ProductCat whether the version is current, and if not, a download of the data source and the program file takes place. ProductCat recognizes the presence of a new version at the next start, informs the user, and after their confirmation, ProductCat is automatically updated.
